Galaksi is Kale’s new star attraction

Kale Group has expanded its collection with yet another winner – Galaksi, which features gleaming geometric surface effects.

Kale Group, a Turkish ceramics major with the two famous brands of Canakkale Seramik and Kalebodur, has added to its most-sought-after brands with its newest collection — Galaksi.

Available in 50 in 50 cm dimensions, its gleaming geometric surface effects are created using special techniques. Coordinating ivory white-mocha and white-anthracite colour palettes enhances the collection’s sophisticated style, while its lapped surfaces accentuate the porcelain’s shine, according to a spokesman for the company.
Galaksi, the new addition to the Çanakkale Seramik brand, is an artistic tool used to create eye-catching spaces with impressive elegance. The result is a collection that is extraordinary and solid, he adds.
With around 2,000 varieties of floor tiles, 1,350 varieties of wall tiles, and approximately 200 new products introduced each year, Çanakkale Seramik and Kalebodur ceramic brands from Turkey have been bringing the world's latest trends in interiors to the Middle East region, besides other parts of the world.
Çanakkale Seramik and Kalebodur brands have their ceramic products grouped in categories such as ‘Energetic’, ‘Innovative’, ‘Rational’ and ‘Intuitive’, which respond to the ambience and emotional appeal of any setting.
The Kale Group is one of Turkey's leading industrial conglomerates built around a core ceramics business and its two famous brands. The group dominates the local market with one of its brand names even having become the generic term for floor tiling. The company has an annual ceramic production capacity which stands at 62 million sq m, and is still expanding.
“The Kale Group derives its strength not only from the scale of its production but from a ceramic culture built up by the company,” says the spokesman. “One of the great advantages for our customers is the sheer breadth of lines we are able to offer. There is an enormous choice of quality lines spanning mass market tiles offering exceptional value through to premium-priced designer lines, as well as top specification technical products.”
The company’s portfolio also includes a variety of wall and floor ceramic tiles, decor and accessory pieces, porcelain tiles, Kalestone pool tiles and accessories, clinker anti-acid tiles and facade construction systems and the Carena range, which is a collection of Turkey’s authentic natural marble, travertine and stones formed into collections of mosaics, tiles and decorations.
“A strong part of the corporate culture has always been devoted to pursuing technological advances and production innovations,” says the spokesman. “Technical leadership was prized by the founder and the pace of investment in its pursuit has never diminished. It is therefore no surprise to find world-leading technological innovations such as Kalesinterflex and Kalestone series under the umbrella of our expert brands.”
“The Turkish consumer’s preference for Canakkale Seramik and Kalebodur brands has been built not only on the basis of trust for the quality and durability of the output, but also because there is line for every need and every personal taste,” he continues. “Understanding local and international consumer and architectural tastes has become a key part of our export success. World-class designs and design innovation have made lines such as the Cosmopolitan and Reptile trend-setters within the sector.”
Kale Group is one of the few companies worldwide — and the first in Turkey — to own the twin-press technology. This technology enables in the Çanakkale Seramik and Kalebodur factories to attain natural textures — the closest to natural stone — that would not be possible with standard ceramic technology in the production of Kalestone, says the spokesman.
The group, which has more than 50 years of experience behind it and 25 affiliate companies, has a showroom in Dubai, set up to promote the group's Çanakkale Seramik, Kalebodur, Carena and Kalevit market leading tile brands in the UAE.
The company’s products have been used on a range of projects in the Middle East that include: the Jumeirah Beach Residence, Business Bay, Arabian Ranches Al Reem, Al Saheel and its extension and Gazella Townhouses and Dubai Marina towers in the UAE.
