V&B’s new arty range meets trends
01 August 2009
VILLEROY & Boch (V&B) of Germany has introduced two new and powerful Quaryl bath collections – My Art and My Art Emotion – with the sophisticated United bath panelling specially developed for these lines.
The pure design of the panelling and the new bath collections is fully in tune with current trends, meeting customer requests in terms of flexibility and combination.
The new My Art bath range, which is made of high-quality Quaryl, has a discreet design with an attractive aesthetic appearance and also guarantees the highest level of bathing comfort, thanks to the well thought-out ergonomics, according to Villeroy & Boch Middle East – Wellness and Bathroom division.
“With an inside depth of 50 cm, My Art offers plenty of freedom for movement and allows the user to immerge totally in the pleasure of taking a bath,” says a spokesman for V&B.
My Art is available as a rectangular bath in the sizes 170 by 75 cm and 180 by 80 cm. All My Art baths can be fitted with the V&B whirlpool systems Whisper and Ultimate Fitness for even more wellness pleasure in the bathroom.
The distinguishing feature on My Art Emotion is the individual rim design. In addition to the standard Quaryl version with two different flush and easy-care rims, this collection is also available in high-quality, black composite material and modern glass.
“The exclusive material mix of Quaryl and glass or black composite material enhances the design of the bath and also paves the way for the integration of the bath in a stylish and individual manner,” he says.
My Art Emotion is available as a rectangular bath in combination with glass or black composite material in the sizes 180 by 85 cm and 190 by 90 cm.
“In addition, the new 175 by 100 cm offset bath, which is tapered at the foot end and available for either right or left-sided installation, is a special problem-solver for small bathrooms. As such, My Art Emotion offers the ideal bath solution for many room scenarios,” the spokesman points out.
The United bath panelling, which transforms the bath into a piece of furniture, is available in a contemporary, minimalist design and can not only be combined perfectly with My Art and My Art Emotion, but also with a large number of selected Quaryl baths from V&B.
“Finished with an exclusive, universal aluminium frame and available in five colours - Merano, Macassar, Glossy Walnut, Glossy White and Pearlwood - United matches perfectly the V&B furniture programmes Shape, Central Line and Sentique,” he says. “The unique lighting in combination with My Art Emotion with glass or black composite material is an exclusive extra that underscores the unusual design and ensures that the bath takes centre stage.
“My Art Emotion, therefore, creates an extraordinary lighting atmosphere, which transforms the act of taking a bath into an intense experience of the senses. United not only enhances the versatility and attractiveness of the Quaryl baths but also leads to a seamless room concept. The attractive design with a reduced selection of materials lends United its distinctive character.
Installation is fast, simple and clean. Baths that are fitted with whirlpool systems are simple to maintain as the panels allow easy access to the technology.”
My Art, My Art Emotion and United are aimed at customers looking for attractive designs to create their individual home environment. “It takes only three steps to realise the dream bath: choose the right bath, add the required frame and select a suitable panelling,” concludes the spokesman.
