Rollc unveils new resilient shutter

01 November 2009

SAUDI Arabia’s Rollc Company for Automatic Doors and Security Systems has launched a new shutter, which can withstand wind loads of up to 85 mph, on the market.

The new Rollc windlock shutter has specially-designed windlock guides and clips to resist high wind pressures, according to the company.
Another new fire-rated shutter recently launched on the market has received an overwhelming response from customers and dealers, says the company.
Rollc’s rolling fire doors have a three-hour fire-rating and carry the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) label for passing test procedure 10B.
Meanwhile, Rollc has recently been awarded a contract for supply and installation of eight hangar doors for Jeddah and Riyadh airports. “We specialise in the manufacture of aircraft hangar doors,” says a Rollc spokesman.
The company has also supplied stainless steel, horizontal and galvanised steel rolling shutters for the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.
Based in Riyadh, Rollc designs and manufactures aircraft hangar doors, blast-resistant doors, bullet-proof doors, rolling shutters, fast-action doors, automatic doors, and gates and security systems.
The company is also the sole distributor in Saudi Arabia and the other Middle East countries for reputed companies such as ACM (Italy), Toramax, (Switzerland), Garaga (Canada), SEA (Italy), and GFA Elecktromaten (Germany).
Rollc has branch offices in Jeddah and Dammam and is planning to open new showrooms and offices in other regions this year to expand services.
An approved supplier for Aramco and key ministries of the Saudi Arabian government, Rollc enjoys the recognition of top consultants and contractors, the spokesman says. The company is also working towards achieving ISO 9001 (ISO 9001:2000) certification.
