Canada-based Champion Motor Graders has recently launched the Series VI graders, which are said to have been designed to meet the requirements of contractors and grader operators.
''When we designed Series VI, we talked to hundreds of contractors and grader operators to find out what they needed in today's motor graders,'' says a spokesman for the company. ''Contractors said they wanted a grader that performs reliably, is easier to maintain and is backed by a full parts and service support. They wanted greater productivity, more pushing capability and increased grading precision. Operators wanted improved all-season climate control, enhanced visibility and better blade mobility, including lift above ground. They also wanted controls that are positioned for easier operation.
''Champion delivered: Every detail on the Series VI graders - from the advanced cab design, to superior blade mobility, to power-to-weight ratios that maximise drawbar pull - has been engineered to boost productivity, increase versatility, deliver superior operator comfort and ensure reliability.''
Founded in 1875, Champion has played a major role in the development of roads around the world for more than 120 years. Today, with markets in 95 countries, it is one of the largest producers of motor graders worldwide, according to the spokesman.
