THE third annual Piling & Deep Foundations Middle East Summit will put the spotlight on the need for high-quality, sustainable engineering techniques.

Hosted jointly by the Dubai Technology & Media Free Zone Authority, Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) and International Quality & Productivity Centre (IQPC), the event will take place at the Westin Hotel, Dubai, between January 31 and February 3 next year.

Key figures from the region’s piling and foundation industry will meet with international ground engineering luminaries for four days of technical presentations and focused discussions that will address crucial engineering issues.

Prof Jean-Louis Briaud, president of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and Dr Fred Kulhawy, member of the ASCE, will deliver keynote presentations during the main conference and will also provide outstanding international insights during the exclusive International Case Study Day on February 3.
