Jotun Paints, one of the leading producers and suppliers of paints and coatings, has completed painting the first phase of the EGP10-billion ($1.84 billion) Marassi development, a world-class tourist and residential project located at Sidi Abdel Rahman Bay along the northern coast of Egypt.
The company has delivered EGP600,000 ($110,451) worth of products under its ‘single source solution’ concept to paint 250 villas, a beach clubhouse and golf academy, which cover an area of 81,000 sq m within the first phase of Marassi.
The project is being developed by Emaar Misr, the Egyptian subsidiary of global property developer Emaar Properties.
Marassi is a 6.25 million sq m year-round destination with premier resort communities and amenities. Home to lavish Armani residences, the development also offers a world-class beach resort, a bustling town centre and marina, an 18-hole golf course and a selection of exclusive hotels.
Jotun utilised its Jotashield brand as the exterior paint for the project, with the villas painted using Jotashield Top Coat Silk, and the golf academy coated with Jotashield Heritage Traditional Tex.
Fenomastic, Jotun’s range of interior paints has been used on the beach clubhouse and two model villas, while its road-marking paint was used for the ring road and Penguard FC for the metal doors across the development.
