RWI wins Saadiyat contract

RUBBER World Industries (RWI) has secured an insulation contract for a Saadiyat Island project in Abu Dhabi. The agreement involved the delivery of top-quality rubber insulation products worth Dh600,000 ($163,358) for Manarat Al Saadiyat, one of Saadiyat Island’s components, which will encompass four major galleries, an experience and sales centre, a 250-seat theatre and a restaurant.
Among the products delivered by RWI for the 15,400-sq-m visitor centre were its industry-leading Gulf-O-Flex rubber insulation tubes, rubber insulation sheets, PVC black tape and Gulf-O-Glue.
Designed solely for professional MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) contractors, Gulf-O-Flex is said to be the only rubber insulation product in the market that meets clients’ requirements in terms of preventing condensation or frost formation on refrigerant lines, cold water plumbing and chilled water systems.
