01 October 2010

RAK Ceramics is launching 18 new products and designs at Cersaie 2010, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, being held in Bologna, Italy from September 28 to October 2.

At its 400-sq-m stand, the company is displaying product innovations developed through the latest in ceramic tile manufacturing technology, complementing the growing reputation of Cersaie as a global platform for creative and artistic excellence in the ceramic tile and sanitary ware industry.

Highlights of RAK Ceramics’ presentation include its Top Class range of ceramic tile and Gres Porcellanato products that feature Gavial, Scales, Leaf, Ray and Fabrica designs. Top Class is an amalgamation of several sub-products developed using the new roto-colour porcelain tile printing technology to create animal skin designs along with stone leaf and cloth designs that feature a classy touch, says a spokesman for the Ras Al Khaimah-based manufacturer. The new Kerajet ceramic tile models – Grid Stone and Segura – are also being displayed.

RAK Ceramics CEO Dr Khater Massaad said: “Cersaie is an important marketing platform that will enable the company to reinforce its reputation as an innovative leader in the global ceramic tile industry.”

RAK Ceramics is also showcasing the Rajasthan and Gnais Stone Gres Porcellanato designs, which use the latest creta-print, as well as other products using roto-colour and roto-matrix technologies.

Cersaie attracts more than 1,000 exhibitors from around 140 countries and thousands of international trade buyers.
