The South Korea-based Hyundai Engineering and Construction is expected to secure $4.7 billion worth of projects abroad this year.
The overseas projects would reach around 15 trillion won ($13.3 billion) by 2002, with 10 trillion won in sales during the period under its new management strategy, the company said.
Cooperation with foreign firms, especially in the US and Europe, for advance into China was key to Hyundai's business strategy, Hyundai said.
It would continue to make inroads into Southeast Asia and the Middle East jointly with construction firms in Europe and Japan. The company hopes to become one of the world's top 10 builders by 2002.
