CEVISAMA 2012, the leading Spanish event for ceramics, natural stone, bathroom equipment and ceramic machinery, will showcase the latest cutting-edge products offered by the innovators in the sector as well as witness a larger turnout of discerning buyers, according to Feria Valencia, the organiser.
The event, which takes place in February (7 to 10) in the Spanish city of Valencia, has become an international platform for the sector owing to the high quality of the exhibition and growth in the number of foreign visitors. Cevisama attracted 14 per cent more buyers in 2011 than at the previous edition, says the organiser.
Visitors to the event – which marks its 30th anniversary next year – can expect to see ground-breaking developments from industries committed to research and development and which produce technologically advanced and eco-efficient products for interior design, architecture and public spaces.
The show has been using the slogan ‘Home Skin Shines’ since 2010 in a bid to bring the fair closer to the consumer, while reflecting Cevisama’s association with excellence in ceramics, natural stone, and bathroom equipment.
The machinery sector is a biennial feature of the event and next year’s Cevisama will cater to the ceramics manufacturing industry, among others, such as ceramics for architecture; bathroom and kitchen equipment; natural stone; glazes, frits and ceramic colours; tiles and bricks; and display furniture and fixing materials.
Another popular feature is the H2Show, a bathroom design gallery, where the latest technological advances in bathrooms will be exhibited in an innovative space with the most reputable national and international bathroom companies showcasing their latest products. This highly successful initiative, launched in 2011, already has 80 per cent of previous exhibitors returning for the next event. The show has been steadily gaining in importance, seeing a 10 per cent increase in exhibitor registrations.
