RAK Ceramics showcased its latest range of cutting-edge products at The Big 5 show, reaffirming its position as a market leader in quality, innovation and design.
The Ras Al Khaimah-headquartered company, which commemorates 20 years as a leading product innovator in the ceramic tile industry, participated at the show with an impressive display of its tile collection in new sizes such as 25 by 70 and 20 by 50 cm along with latest digital printing technology-based tiles.
Part of the centrepiece attractions of its premium portfolio of ceramic and Gres Porcellanato tile models, these tiles have a slick finish, enhanced with exquisite tile designs. Ceramic models that were showcased included the Craft and Charm collections, which offer trendy and classy designs using digital printing technology, catering to cosmopolitan customers, as well as the Linia, Lamina, Stone Art Collection and Interlocking Tiles.
Gres Porcellanato models included the Aqaba (30 by 60), which is influenced by the Jordanian Stone; Aleppo Stone (45 by 45), which is developed using hi-definition digital printing to give it a rustic stone/lapato finish; and the Bevel Rock (33 by 50 and 45 by 45), which offers a bevelled finish that gives a unique texture on the tile, allowing the surface to have an embossed designer look. The company also launched Sandust (30 by 60), which has been designed to reflect the splendour of the Arabian desert. It has been developed using the Chroma printing technology, and the Techno Rak polished floor tiles (60 by 60 and 1 by 1m).
Another highlight was the tiles for children’s segment under the brand Junior Tiles Collection targeting children’s rooms, washrooms, kindergarten schools and kid’s play areas in shopping malls, hospitals, and other facilities. Under Junior Tiles Collection, Sweet Apple, Baby Ted, Pug Mark, Cheeky and Bumpy are the series that have generated a positive response.
RAK Ceramics recently completed the installation of new touch-screen devices in its showrooms, making it easier for customers to search for their favourite models and designs. The company further revealed that it has launched an iPad app for its touch-screen application called iDesign Tool, which is available for download at the Apple App Store, as well as a groundbreaking scan coding system, that can easily direct customers to its website containing complete information about its products.
