Italian trowel takes the heat

01 March 2012

CO.ME of Italy, which specialises in tools for masons, painters and sculptors, is set to launch its new energy sponge trowel, alongside a range of other special application products on the Gulf market.

“The top-quality coarse cells sponge is perfect to clean and dry surfaces in hot surroundings. This is the first ‘Made in Italy’ sponge trowel with an energy rubber handle that ensures a firm grip even with sweaty hands,” explains sales manager Simone Cecchin.

He says that the company has been successful in launching market-specific tools, with one of the most popular items in the regional market being the Walby pattern trowel. The trowel features a natural beech wood handle, super resistant but extremely flexible carbon steel blade and top-quality welding, which makes it an ideal tool for masons, Cecchin adds.
Thanks to its research and development initiatives, Co.ME has been updating its range of construction equipment aimed at professional users, and now has a product line of 300 different items.

“Our presence in the Middle East is characterised by the manufacture of equipment tailor-made for this market, keeping in mind the extreme weather conditions,” says Cecchin.
