Belhasa backs Qatar expo
BELHASA Projects (BHP), the Middle East’s largest specialist company in swimming pool construction and maintenance, is the key sponsor of the first Qatar International Exhibition for Pools and Spa (QPS 2012).
More than 180 local and international companies are expected to particpate in QPS 2012, which will take place at the Doha International Exhibition Centre from October 7 to 9, 2012 in Doha, Qatar.

American softwoods in spotlight
THE use of American softwoods will be highlighted at a leading woodshow in Dubai, UAE, this month.
American Softwoods (Amso), the promotional partnership formed by three major US softwood trade associations, will participate in the sixth edition of the Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Show (Dubai WoodShow), which will be held this month (April 3 to 5) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
Amso aims to spotlight the use of American softwoods for both internal and external projects and increase awareness of its commercially available species, at the show.
Pool exhibitors to make a splash
LATEST innovations from the global pool industry will feature at the debut show of Piscine Middle East 2012 this month, which will bring leading international exhibitors to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The show, organised by GL Events exhibitions, will provide an opportunity for developers, contractors as well as service providers in the pool industry to meet companies that supply readymade, construct custom-made swimming pools, or both.
More than 60 international exhibitors and 2,000 visitors are expected to attend the show, which will be held from April 22 to 25 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).
Piscine will be co-located with Cityscape Abu Dhabi. With more than 20,000 participants expected and more than 150 major developers exhibiting, Cityscape Abu Dhabi provides an opportunity to understand, build and develop business in the Middle East’s real estate market comprising architects, interior designers, local authorities and real estate developers.
