The global programme management consultancy Turner & Townsend has been appointed to cost manage the construction of a fourth concourse at Dubai International Airport by Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects Corporation (DAEP).
The project to build Concourse D, which is being led by the UAE-based firm ALEC, will substantially increase the airport’s projected capacity when completed.
As cost managers, Turner & Townsend will play a key role in shaping the Concourse D development and ensuring that it is delivered on budget.
Meanwhile, Turner & Townsend has completed its role as cost manager for Rihan Heights, the first residential phase in the re-development of the Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi. Designed by SMC Alsop, Rihan Heights is the first phase of the project to be completed, delivering five luxurious residential towers.
