Sennebogen to attend Intermat 2014
SENNEBOGEN Middle East will return to participate at Intermat Middle East 2014 next month (January 14 to 16), with a range of products that will target the oil and gas sector.
“We still see the oil and gas business as one with the highest potential. We design our new and existing machines to meet special enquiries for such applications,” said Andreas Geier, head of sales, crane line, Middle East, North Africa and Benelux, Sennebogen Middle East.
Sennebogen, which has participated at the construction event for the past two consecutive years, will aim to promote its products as well as network with new contacts across the region at the upcoming edition. Organised by Comexposium and Clarion Events Middle East, the third annual Intermat Middle East will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec), in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With 250 exhibitors participating, it is a must-attend event for decision makers, buyers, and influencers in the region to view the largest showcase of new, pre-owned and rental machinery.
Dubai event to showcase China ware
MORE than 1,000 suppliers of Chinese goods will take part in a home interiors show which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE, this month (December 3 to 5).
The Chinese suppliers are expected to bring more than 50,000 products to the China Homelife exhibition, contributing to the 35 per cent increase in trade between the UAE and China every year for the past decade. The event, organised by MEOrient International, is marked by a 60 per cent increase in exhibitor numbers and 150 per cent increase in exhibition space year on year.
Muscat to host safety conference
A CONFERENCE to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Muscat, Oman, this month (December 4) is aiming to be a GCC-wide initiative to debate safety standards and practices in the built environment.
Safety Design in Buildings conference will feature presentations and discussions for an improved protection of people and assets. Earlier editions of the conference were held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; and Kuwait. The conference targets architects, engineers and other professionals.
Quality construction in spotlight
THE Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference will be held this month (December 11 and 12) at Palace Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
It will focus on the role of quality building materials in achieving higher standards for sustainability and safety in buildings, roads and bridges.
