KEY decision-makers from the construction and textile sectors attended the second edition of Domotex Middle East in Istanbul, Turkey, last month (November 7 to 10).

The exhibition, held at IFM Istanbul Expo Centre, hosted high-ranking delegates from enterprises, industry associations and institutions from various countries including Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Yemen, Oman, Iran and Iraq. Among the visitors were senior procurement executives and project managers as well as leading architects and interior designers.

Special hosted buyer groups and buyer delegations from the Middle East and Turkey generated significant business throughout the exhibition.

Besides exhibitors from 16 countries worldwide, China, Germany, Iran and India participated with their official country pavilions.

The four-day expo showcased handmade patchwork carpets, Soumak rugs and carpets made from bamboo and corn.
