Terex Finlay is showcasing an exciting line-up of new model launches at Hillhead 2014, Europe’s largest exhibition dedicated to the quarrying industry, which is being held in Buxton, UK, this month (June 24 to 26).
Sales and marketing director Nigel Irvine says the timing for the show has worked out perfectly for Terex Finlay, which is introducing a range of new machines to its portfolio of crushing and screening and the market place.
“Literally every machine that we will be exhibiting at the show will be a new product launch – introduced in the past six months – or a preview of a machine that will be launched later this year,” he says.
From its 8-Series screener range, Terex Finlay will be exhibiting the 893 heavy-duty screen that was launched early in the year. This is its largest forward-facing screen and will be a dominant presence on the company stand.
Another new addition to the 8-Series range will be the newly revamped 883+ heavy-duty screener.
“We’re delighted to be unveiling this
machine at Hillhead as the current model is the thoroughbred workhorse, in its class, on a global basis. We’ve previewed the machine to our international customer base at a number of events and we’re expecting a positive response from the market place for the machine,” says Irvine.
Terex Finlay will also be demonstrating the new 883+ screener with a Spaleck screenbox in the recycling area at the main entrance to the show.
From its 6-Series range of inclined screens, the company will have a new 693+ model.
“We’ve re-revamped this popular and enduring model to give it a more compact transport envelope. We’re excited by the buzz and interest that has been expressed in this model,” comments Irvine.
He says the company’s crusher line-up is equally impressive. “The show will mark the public debut of a new variant of our successful and proven C-1550 cone crusher. We’re excited about the capabilities and possible configurations of this machine. It will have a dominant position on our stand and is sure to be one of the key attractions, not just at our stand but the show overall.”
Joining the C-1550 in making its first show appearance is the recently launched I-100RS impact crusher.
“Despite being one of the smaller machines in our portfolio, it packs a real punch and is a firm favourite of the owner operators who are currently using the machine in their businesses,” says Irvine.
Terex Finlay’s crusher line-up on the booth is completed with its new J-1170AS jaw crusher. This new variant of the popular model features an onboard sizing screen and will be launched later in 2014.
The company will have four machines working at the show. In the recycling area will be the 883+ Spaleck recycling screener.
“The main working display of the show is sure to be one of the talking points of the show,” says Irvine. “We will have diesel/electric versions of our class-leading J-1175 jaw crusher, C-1540 cone crusher and 694+ working together.”
“Our engineering and new product development teams have worked extremely hard in getting these machines into production, the Hillhead show is the perfect platform from which to introduce the machines to the market place,” concludes Irvine.
