BAGNODESIGN, the home of creative bathroom solutions, hosted its first international dealer summit in Dubai, UAE, last month (June 9 to 11).
More than 26 delegates from 17 companies attended the event, sharing experiences and knowledge in running profitable businesses in different countries while discussing trends in brand and product development.
At the event, Bagnodesign directors and managers made presentations on the key topics influencing the business today, according to a spokesperson for the company.
“This was followed by a ‘speed dating’ session, allowing the dealers to learn more about some of the company’s most successful ranges,” he said.
The highlight of the first day was the exclusive launch of Metreaux, Bagnodesign’s newest comprehensive and contemporary bathroom collection, which will be displayed at the company’s showrooms very soon, according the spokesman.
Day two of the summit took place in Jebel Ali where delegates were taken on a guided tour of Bagnodesign’s 8,300-sq-m logistics centre, and provided an insight into how the company’s quality control and manufacturing departments are run. This was followed by presentations from the firm’s teams from Glasgow (Scotland), Hong Kong and New Zealand as well as on product development, where delegates were asked to provide their feedback on different prototypes.
The event also featured interactive workshops and presentations, where dealers took part in business planning.
Kevan Halliwell, managing director – trade at Bagnodesign, commented: “Judging by the feedback received from delegates, it is clear that everyone thoroughly enjoyed our first ever summit and found it beneficial. We are proud to be able to host an event of this calibre. Not only does it mean we can discuss and share information in an entirely new way but also our dealers have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the culture of the company and the importance of team work.”
The three-day event took place at Bagnodesign’s new training academy located next to its showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road. The academy provides industry and product-specific hands-on training and workshops for customers, staff and contractors on both the technical and selling aspects of products across all categories.
