EIGHT new parks are being developed by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality in Baniyas town, on the outskirts of UAE’s capital, said a report.
The work has already begun on four of these parks, while designs for constructing four others are being worked on, said the Khaleej Times report.
The new parks, which are expected to be completed in the last quarter of 2017, include playground areas and the rehabilitation of the existing 307,176 sq m Baniyas Park. The upgrade will include new recreational facilities and more environmentally sustainable irrigation and maintenance practices, it added.
