Size matters, says Grohe

WHEN it comes to size, leading sanitary ware manufacturer Grohe has now put “the luxury of choice” firmly in the hands of its customers by offering its taps and mixers in a variety of dimensions.

For years, Grohe has offered a wide range of taps and mixers in different designs but now the company offers an additional advantage in terms of comfort: a choice of sizes, explains a spokesman.

“The choice of sizes has never been greater, with Grohe offering faucet heights from XS to XL in its most popular ranges,” he says.

To make it easy, all washbasin mixers are marked with a ‘size’ character that everybody understands: from Extra-Small to Extra-Large. The higher the faucet gets, the higher and wider the spout reaches out, the more comfort!

The first step is for customers to pick their favourite design. From sleek, smooth and cylindrical looks to the sharp, dynamic lines of a cube, Grohe offers tactile faucets that are a delight to touch, he says.

“Whatever look is the perfect fit for your bathroom, Grohe can offer an unrivalled choice of size, so creating a complete scheme has never been easier,” the spokesman says.

Once customers have chosen the design of the Grohe washbasin mixer, they can adapt the size to their needs.

XS-size is an extra small tap, ideal for cloakrooms and usually used for cold water only; S-size is a comfortable, standard-height basin mixer; M-size is a medium-height tap with a slightly longer spout making access easier; L-size is a large tap with a long spout, ideal for washing or filling larger objects; and XL-size is an extra-large tap for vessel-type basins offering exceptional comfort and style.

The unveils timeless tap series

Anoa ... elegant tap.

THG, a French company renowned for its premium taps and bathroom fittings, has launched a new line that associates metal with a skilfully crafted natural clear or black buffalo horn.

Known as Anoa, the timeless series has achieved a perfect marriage of these two materials with remarkable finesse, according to a spokesperson for THG.

“Anoa features a tender and natural design that brightens up daily life through its sobriety. Horn is a delicate material that brings a soft and relaxing aspect to the series. This sober and elegant bathroom tap is a true decoration object which is available in several finishes – chrome, nickel, gold. As horn is a natural material, the taps come in a variety of different shades.”

The new line includes fittings and accessories for basins, bidets, showers and bathtubs.

THG has been awarded the prestigious EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, which in French means ‘living heritage company’) quality label conferred by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry to French firms in recognition of the excellence of their traditional and industrial skills.

THG has a firm grasp of each stage of manufacture, from design to foundry and treatment. The company also works with local small and medium enterprises (SMEs), primarily in polishing and cutting. With years of experience and collaboration, the company now focuses on stylish fittings and original designs.

Sterlingham extends towel warmers range

Chatsworth ... keeping it warm.

Chatsworth ... keeping it warm.

THE Sterlingham Company, a UK-based specialist in luxury bathroom accessories, has expanded its celebrated range of low-energy, hand-crafted towel warmers with launch of two brand new designs.

The Chatsworth and The Dunsley have been developed as part of the company’s continued growth into export markets around the world.

The Chatsworth model was inspired by the work it has done at Chatsworth House, a stately home in Derbyshire, England.

“Commissioned to refurbish a number of old 1930s electric towel warmers for Chatsworth House, Sterlingham stripped the old chrome and added its state-of-the-art componentry before re-plating in polished nickel and fitting its custom low-energy heating elements,” explains a spokesman for the company.

The new model combines 32-mm side legs with 38-mm rails and a wall fixing method typical of the period. These towel warmers are electric-only, with the supply entering from the floor below either foot.

The Dunsley, on the other hand, has a more utilitarian approach – that of a swimming pool ladder. The sleek towel warmer comes in two versions, either as a floor-standing model or with concealed fittings.

“The Dunsley would be perfect in the marine market; with its curved angles and nautical feel; it fits well in the luxury yacht market. Created with a 32-mm tube and fittings, The Dunsley is both elegant and practical,” says the spokesman.
