Project Qatar 2015 promises major networking opportunities

Project Qatar will return next year with an extended portfolio that promises to provide major networking opportunities for exhibitors.

Organised by IFP Qatar (International Fairs and Promotions), the 12th international construction technologies and building materials exhibition will once again bring together a huge cluster of local, regional and international exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services which meet the needs of the local and regional markets.

Project Qatar, to be held from May 4 to 7 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar, has expanded its portfolio providing thousands of professional visitors, industry buyers and decision makers from around the world with the opportunity to network with leading manufacturers and suppliers from various sectors.

The event will be held concurrently with two specialised events: Qatar StoneTech 2015, the fourth international stone and stone technology show, and Heavy Max 2015, the 12th international exhibition for heavy machinery.

Another highlight is The Project Qatar Business Intelligence Series of six conferences that will run during the event and throughout the year. It includes: Future Interiors Qatar, Future Landscape and Public Realm Qatar, Future Drainage Networks Qatar, AcousticsTech Qatar, InsulationTech Qatar and LightingTech Qatar.

“Visitors will have the opportunity to learn through special seminars and short courses, unlocking new possibilities,” said Rawad Sleem, project manager, Project Qatar.

Some of the key sectors of the show include construction and building materials, lighting, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, power, glass and glazing products and technologies.

Project Qatar 2014 attracted a vast number of new global exhibitors with 2,100 companies from 47 countries and 24 international pavilions. In addition, the exhibition welcomed 48,953 local, regional and international visitors.
