Al Habtoor Group, a leading family-owned UAE conglomerate, plans to build a huge mixed-use development comprising three luxury hotels alongside three high-rise residential towers on a sprawling 800,000 sq m of land in Cairo, Egypt.
The project is set to become one of the largest of its kind in the region once completed, said Al Habtoor Group.
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, the group chairman, said he has submitted the proposal for the ambitious project to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
The Al Habtoor City Cairo incorporates three luxury internationally branded hotels, three high-rise residential towers as well as a cluster of mid-rise residential apartment blocks besides 204 luxury villas set within picturesque landscaping.
The project boasts state-of-the-art facilities, an international school, a shopping complex, two polo fields and a golf course.
It is based on the group’s highly-anticipated Al Habtoor City project in Dubai, UAE, which incorporates three luxury hotels alongside three high-rise residential towers on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal, Al Habtoor told Al Arabiya TV channel.
