Bahrain-based architecture and design consultancy Intec has tied-up with two leading international firms that will complement its range of services.
The firm now represents Montaldo Engineering, a design and engineering firm based in Italy, and the Argentina’s Caparra Entelman & Asociados (CE&A), a leading interior designer of high-end hospitality as well as residential projects.
Montaldo Engineering is a leader in design of residential and commercial buildings, and marine, power plant, oil and gas, industrial and logistic projects. Its clients include Ansaldo Energia, ABB, Fisia, Exxon Mobil and Foster Wheeler.
Caparra Entelman has developed projects of high standards in Argentina, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile for Park Hyatt, Starwood, Hilton, NH Hotels, Libertador Hotels, Grace Hotels and Fangio Hotels.
Intec, which was set up in 1978 by Filipe Yofre, holds credit for designing Bahrain’s first mall, the Yateem Centre in Manama. It is now poised to handover 32 luxury villas at the Sea Villas project in the Dilmunia health island off Muharraq. Other current projects include the Bayan School, which is at the concept design stage.
Intec’s projects include the Al Bander Resort, Lexus showroom, Durrat Al Bahrain, Coral Bay, and the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Club.
