01 April 2017

Egypt developer Tatweer Misr plans to build 1,000 hotel rooms at IL Monte Galala, a residential and tourist project inspired by the mountains of Portofino in Italy.

Located in Ain Sokhna and covering an area of 2.2 million sq m along the Red Sea coast, IL Monte Galala will be home to a spa, mountain park, five-star hotels, an art zone, as well as a bustling old town.

The project offers a world of contemporary living options and branded residences that combine functional beachside simplicity with the highest degree of luxury.

The first phase of the project is being executed at an investment of $250 million and includes residential and hotel units which will be completed by 2019.

As many as 5,000 units are to be built over a 10-year period.
