KEO International Consultants – which is providing design and construction supervision services for the Expo Village being developed by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in Dubai – said it has completed the technical design for six parcels of the a residential community development in Dubai.
The leading design, engineering and project management firm added that it has also provided the supervision services for piling works of five parcels and that the first main contractor has been awarded for the project.
The village will host visitors and participants of Expo 2020 Dubai.
KEO was previously commissioned to concept design the buildings and infrastructure of the entire Expo Village and provide full design and construction supervision of Phase One of the development. The development, expected to be delivered by the fourth quarter of 2019, promises to be a community-based development defined by efficient design coupled with high sustainability principles, KEO said.
The development, with 2,273 apartment units, will include retail and community facilities to be delivered in two phases.
