Hi-Finity doors high on aesthetics, performance

Reynaers’ ultra-slim Hi-Finity glazed door creates large transparent surfaces, with a light, sleek and elegant appearance.

Reynaers Aluminium’s Hi-Finity sliding door has extended the boundaries of what is possible in terms of size of glazed entrances. Launched four years ago, the luxury product has been installed in a number of high-end villas in the Middle East where it enhances the aesthetics while providing highly reliable performance.

With a towering maximum door height of 3.5 m and a maximum door panel weight of as much as 300 kg, the Hi-Finity door sets a new benchmark of excellence for the discerning householder or architect who wants the very latest in contemporary design and ultimate performance, according to Reynaers Middle East

Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office for the Belgium-based aluminium systems provider, says the patio door is the epitome of modern design, combining the ultimate in contemporary aesthetics with outstanding performance.

“This state-of-the-art structurally glazed door offers the possibility of floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall glass, featuring an ergonomically designed handle and a concealed locking system,” he says.

“Beautiful as it is, the Hi-Finity door is designed to be looked through, not to be looked at,” adds Khalaf.

The ultra-slim design of the Hi-Finity creates large transparent surfaces, with a light, sleek and elegant appearance. This fully transparent and accessible sliding system seamlessly extends the house’s interior to the outside. This, in combination with the high energy performance and the minimalistic look, makes this product the best solution for low-energy contemporary architecture, he says.

The outer frame can be built into the structure of the building, extending the expanse of glass. The interlock between door panels is incredibly narrow, measuring only 35 mm wide, and the frame and spacer bars between the panes of glass are both black, helping the door to frame the view in the most unobtrusive way.

The specially designed wheelbase ensures the fluid movement of the glass panes. Even panes for large openings can be effortlessly operated by hand. The sliding panes can be operated either manually, automatically or by remote control.

“By combining huge door panels in a range of double- and triple-track designs, Reynaers offers a truly panoramic expanse of glass to make the most of any view. It is also possible to combine two Hi-Finity doors on adjoining walls using one of a range of innovative corner solutions.

“Additionally, the handle for the Hi-Finity sliding door is a beautifully crafted masterpiece. Its slim design perfectly complements the contemporary styling of the door, and the soft touch materials and ergonomic design will bring a smile to your face every time you use it,” Khalaf comments.

Furthermore, the concept of the locking mechanism gives the door a high level of security. In combination with layered glass, Hi-Finity is burglary resistant conforming to Class RC2. The electric locking and unlocking is realised by a robust bolt and hook, operated by a simple push on the button or the remote control.

Since its launch in 2014, Reynaers Middle East has supplied the Hi-Finity sliding door to several projects in the region, which include high-end villa projects to fulfil clients’ need for space, comfort and luxury.

Examples of key projects where Hi-Finity systems have been installed include Al Bindaira Café at Al Aali Mall in Bahrain and the Yarzi Villa in Lebanon, which features several other systems such as the ES 45 Pa windows, CP 45 Pa concept patio sliding, and CW 50 SL (+Skylight) curtain-walling along with Hi-Finity.

Hi-Finity sliding doors are also being installed at the Al Husseini Villa in Jordan. The villa, which is currently under construction, features the CW 50 curtain-wall System along with Hi-Finity.
