Reynaers ME to host regional clients at Bau

01 January 2019

Dozens of Reynaers Aluminium’s key stakeholders from across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region will be flown to Munich, Germany, to experience first-hand the European company’s latest innovative tangible and digital offerings at a leading trade fair.

A select group of 30 fabricators, architects and contractors from Bahrain, the UAE, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq, along with a six-member team from Reynaers Middle East, the Bahrain-headquartered regional office of the Belgian firm, will be attending Bau 2019, a key architecture, materials and systems exhibition, being held from January 14 to 19.

“The idea of attending this mega international event along with our key stakeholders is to harness strong bilateral relations and to ensure they are kept abreast with the latest advancements offered by Reynaers,” explains Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East.

The event, he says, will also serve as a vital information channel for new entrants, for example, customers and stakeholders from the Iraqi market.

Reynaers Middle East recently started operations in Iraq and has already supplied its first order there.

“Our current experience in the Iraqi market has been one of immense interest from customers and potential stakeholders, who understand the significance and long-term benefits of choosing quality aluminium solutions for their projects. And Bau 2019 is the ideal platform to exhibit the company’s strengths and system performances,” says Khalaf.

He says the ‘Together for Better’ philosophy essentially underpins Reynaers’ focus on partnership building across its entire value chain, from strong interaction with clients, to in-house teamwork and relationship building with role players in architecture, design and construction. It drives the company’s investments in innovation on many fronts and provides the basis on which tailor-made solutions and bespoke systems can be integrated.

Reynaers Aluminium will offer visitors an insight into a world of new dimensions at its innovative booth at Bau, and will showcase what makes it a market leader in embedding architectural design, innovative building technology and advanced technology in its window, door and sliding systems and curtain-wall solutions.

Khalaf says Reynaers’ focus on its newest aluminium innovations and digital solutions for the building industry fits in with Bau’s multi-dimensional theme, covering every aspect of the construction industry.

“What sets Reynaers apart is its explicit client-centric and partnership-driven approach to promote innovation in their constant drive to find bespoke solutions to their stakeholders’ needs,” he adds.

Reynaers digital 2.0

A major attraction at Reynaers’ booth will be a version  of Avalon, the dedicated virtual reality (VR) room at the Reynaers Campus.

“Avalon is a highly advanced VR simulation space that has specifically been designed to bring architectural solutions to life. It makes it possible to virtually move around in a building that is in fact still in its design stage,” explains Khalaf.

The VR room on display at the expo is a transportable version developed by Barco – an expert in visualisation and projections – and will enable to visitors to experience the power of VR in the building industry.

Another innovative digital highlight will be ‘The World of Reynaers’ application, which will allows visitors to discover a wide range of solutions across many dimensions. Khalaf says the application will offer visitors a new perspective, harnessing multimedia technology to open up new avenues to sharing information.

“Through the application, users can change product colours, open types and many other design aspects to test combinations. The World of Reynaers application can also be experienced in the Avalon installation,” he adds.

Khalaf says Reynaers’ display of innovative aluminium solutions serves to confirm its technological leadership, while bearing testimony to the creative flair with which it continuously scouts the markets to identify emerging needs, and then develops solutions that deliver well above market demands.

He says higher and more transparent designs coupled with high insulation values and increased home automation enables designers to bring solutions for windows, doors, sliding solutions and curtain-walls with substantially more possibilities and freedom of choice.

Furthermore, at Bau, Reynaers will demonstrate how its latest range of aluminium solutions allows architects and fabricators the freedom to make almost any architectural dream come true.

“The vast array of Reynaers’ systems and solutions on display will reflect dominant worldwide building and construction trends, demonstrating the extent to which it has successfully adapted designs and technology to address regional needs and unique climate and weather conditions globally,” concludes Khalaf.
