With landmark infrastructural and industrial projects nearing completion and some other much-awaited contracts set to be announced, 2019 is poised to be one of anticipation and new hope for the construction sector.






Standing tall in testimony to the close ties between Bahrain and India with a design that fuses elements from both cultures, the Golden Gate will rise 245 m above ground to take the crown of the tallest residential towers in the country.






Commercial Real Estate Company (Al Tijaria) has announced the completion of structural construction work on the ‘Symphony Tower Al Tijaria’, one of the tallest residential buildings in Bahrain and its first project in the country. Work on the project, valued at BD21 million ($55.






The year 2018 was a period of major milestones for Marassi Al Bahrain: Phase One of the infrastructure works was completed and construction of Marassi Galleria Mall, Vida Hotel and Serviced Apartments received the go-ahead with the appointment of the Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast-Cebarco Bahrain joint venture as contractor.

Formwork systems from Paschal-Werk G Maier have become a preferred choice for contractors in Bahrain who have been using them to boost efficiency on their various projects, says Amir Delghandi, general director of Paschal Concrete Forms, the Bahrain-based regional office of the German formwork specialist.






Abdul Hadi Al Afoo Company has recently procured Dynapac rollers, which it has deployed successfully on a number of road and infrastructure projects in Bahrain.






Thyssenkrupp Elevator, a global leader in passenger transportation systems, says it has delivered 16 elevators and two escalators to Bahrain’s 200-m United Tower located on the north-eastern shore of capital Manama. Thyssenkrupp Elevator says this was its biggest ever order in Bahrain.
