01 March 2019

Damac Properties has launched its latest ready-built concept, Golf Town, located within Damac Hills, a popular gated-community in Dubai, UAE.

Golf Town offers spacious, modern apartments and world-class views of the community’s 7,300-yard golf course.

With direct access to nearly 4 million sq ft of private green parkland and holistic health facilities, Golf Town residents are also within walking distance from the Jebel Ali School, a Carrefour Market, and the Trump International Golf Club, Dubai, states the developer.

Damac Properties has also officially opened the new 2,000-sq-m skatepark located within Damac Hills. Set against a lush green landscape and located within the heart of the thriving community, the skatepark is designed for trick skating and offers residents a one-of-a-kind leisure venue for skaters of all levels, says the Emirati developer.

Meanwhile, Damac Properties has reported a total revenue of Dh6.1 billion ($1.46 billion) for 2018, while its net profit stood at Dh1.2 billion.

The Emirati group says the booked sales for the same period were reported at Dh4.3 billion, while total assets stood at Dh25.2 billion. During the same financial period, Damac had delivered a total of over 4,100 units, the highest number of units completed by the company within one year.

The units delivered were spread across flagship projects Damac Towers by Paramount Hotels & Resorts Dubai, Damac Heights, Damac Majestine, Avanti Tower, as well as several mid-rise buildings and villas within the Damac Hills community, it states.

The year also saw the completion of several community facilities and the hosting of ongoing community events at Damac Hills, as additional residents and retail outlets joined the community in 2018.

As of 31 December 2018, a total of over 4,000 units have been delivered at Damac Hills. Construction also continues at Damac’s second residential community in Dubai, Akoya Oxygen. During the same financial period reported, over Dh6 billion worth of contracts were awarded for the Akoya Oxygen community.
