Oman approves $250m tenders

Oman’s Tender Board has approved contracts worth RO96.4 million ($250 million) for construction and infrastructure-related works, said a report.

The projects included establishment of a mixed-use building and annexes at Ghala Heights in Muscat Governorate for the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund at a cost of RO54.6 million and construction of dams in Wadi Addai in Muscat at RO36 million, reported the Oman News Agency (ONA).

The list also includes additional works for the RO5.02-million Al Roudha dual-carriageway project in Al Buraimi and for consultancy services for the design and construction of Saih Qatnah Road in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah at RO79,400.

Also approved were two tenders for consultancy services for design and supervision of an Innovation Complex in Muscat and the Oman Cultural Complex.
