Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has started the construction work on one of its ambitious healthcare projects – a 780-bed maternity hospital – in the Al Sabah Medical Area.
The giant facility will boast 60 delivery rooms and 28 operation theatres besides 240 units, reported Al Jarida daily.
The project is being built over a large area using the latest construction techniques and will comprise 780 beds and medical services for delivery and post-natal care, and children’s ward, stated the report.
The hospital, in addition to the many other specialties, contains a dining hall and a theatre that can accommodate 200 people, it added.
