A numberof key local and international real estate developers have signed up for The Gulf Property Show at The Avenues, Bahrain which runs from November 6 to 9, to showcase a variety of prime properties and exclusive offers.
The event, organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), is the winter edition of Gulf Property Show, a boutique showcase for the real estate sector in the Northern Gulf held every April.
In its second year, the winter edition is strategically sponsored by Golden Gate Developers, First Bahrain Real Estate and Durrat Marina and has the support of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) of Bahrain.
The event will feature 21 companies involved in real estate development and sales from Bahrain and other overseas locations.
Rera CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa will preside over the formal opening of the event.
“The central role of Rera is to create a real estate ecosystem in Bahrain, ensuring that our policies and practices serve the needs of all stakeholders, including investors, home buyers, developers and other real estate professionals,” remarked Shaikh Mohammed.
HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said: “We are humbled by Rera and Shaikh Mohammed’s confidence placed in the Gulf Property Show. Events such as ours play an important part in building investor confidence in Bahrain’s real estate sector.”
Golden Gate Developers, a joint venture between Bahraini company Kooheji Golden Gate and Indian real estate companies Ajmera Realty and Mayfair Housing, is showcasing its twin-towers project, Golden Gate, which will be one of the tallest buildings in Bahrain Bay, comprising 746 apartments.
Eman Al Mannai, vice-president of sales and marketing, Golden Gate Developers said: “The Gulf Property Show is Bahrain’s leading real estate event. The mall event at The Avenues offers a unique opportunity to meet buyers from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and other parts of the GCC.”
Golden Gate last year recorded a number of sales during the debut Gulf Property Show at The Avenues, and looks forward to a similar response this year, she noted.
Making its debut at the event is Durrat Marina, a major waterfront development in Bahrain estimated to cost over $1.3 billion.
According to CEO Waleed Saffy: “Durrat Marina is a marquee development in Bahrain. It is only fit and proper that our vision behind the marina-based luxury development should take a prominent role at the kingdom’s premier event for real estate promotion.”
Spanning three artificial islands with sea-facing façades, the project comprises a variety of real estate options of residential waterfront villas, high-end apartments and land plots for sale which are all in close proximity to the operational and luxurious marina, he stated.
Saffy said Durrat Marina offers a coastal haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, providing a laid-back lifestyle perfect for the entire family.
Phase One of the project, which is on the verge of completion, is being developed by both Durrat Marina and another renowned developer, which has also shown interest in Phase Two of the project.
Meanwhile, Bahrain-based Reef Venture Real Estate will be showcasing its prime development, Difaaf Project. The project boasts two residential towers built on a 16,000-sq-m plot of land surrounded by lush greenery within the gated community of Reef Island.
With a built-up area of 100,000 sq m, Difaaf will feature 534 residential units with panoramic sea views. The residential units are being designed with flexible living spaces that are minimalistic, elegant and simultaneously suit the demands of the discerning buyers looking for comfort, quality and location.
Another major developer Al Tijaria has big plans for the Gulf Property Show at The Avenues. These include a special BD43,000 ($113,341) offer for luxurious residential flats at its Symphony Tower with easy and convenient payment plans.
Symphony Tower is located in the Diplomatic Area and scales 46 floors with 351 spacious apartments, ranging from studios and one- to three-bedroom units, with panoramic views of the sea and the city and a variety of amenities.
Al Tijaria CEO Fawaz Ebrahim said: “Our main focus at the Gulf Property Show at The Avenues will be our first residential development in Bahrain, Symphony Tower, which is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2020.”
Also promoting its key luxury development, the Catamaran Towers, will be Bahrain-based Al Yal Real Estate. The project is located in Bahrain’s Seef district and aims to provide a luxurious lifestyle combined with the comfort of upscale units and amenities. Its strategic location allows residents to take advantage of the entertainment, dining and shopping experience of Bahrain City Centre, situated right across the road.
The two towers, which have each been built on a 7,000-sq-m area, will boast 583 residential units. The 36-floor east tower will have 311 units, while the 33-floor west tower will have 272 units, stated the developer.
Properties manager Aymen Abassi said: “The architectural design of the towers was inspired by the shape of the twin catamaran sails. The Gulf Property Show at The Avenues provides a unique platform to promote our vision of luxury living for Bahrain.”
Part of the international line-up is the award-winning real estate group, Aristo Developers from Cyprus which, in addition to showcasing its prime properties, will also be offering visitors an opportunity to get citizenship of Cyprus through investment in one of its exclusive selection of luxury villas in the European country.
The company said it has been acknowledged by the International Finance Magazine as “Best Real Estate Cyprus Developer” for innovation and performance, and by the European Property Awards for “Best Cyprus Property”.
Issam Nasser, the company’s business development manager, said: “We see Bahrain and the Gulf Property Show as the perfect marketing platform to build on our investor base in the GCC.”
He added: “For over 40 years, Aristo Developers is a recognised and trusted name in the Cyprus real estate market. With over 265 island-wide developments, and 35 new projects currently in the market, Aristo is also the pioneering force behind large-scale investments, such as the Venus Rock Golf Resort, Kings Avenue Mall and the International School of Paphos.”
Participating from the region is returning exhibitor Trafalgar from Dubai.
Trafalgar prides itself on matching its diverse client investment profiles with comprehensive and tailored services directly linked to the company’s portfolio of international opportunities.
“We have over 10 years of experience and knowledge of the UK real estate market and we aim to deliver what every investor in real estate is looking for; namely, a guaranteed risk-averse investment,” its CEO Anurag Bhatia said.
“At our stand at the Gulf Property Show, we will be showcasing the exciting opportunity to own land in Liverpool, located just between Green Lane and Bells Lane in Maghull – Merseyside. The plot offered is centrally situated in a premier and highly accessible site bordered by existing neighbourhoods,” explained Bhatia. “The land is a mere 25 minutes from the Liverpool city centre and provides easy access to the M57 and M58 highways.”
Trafalgar is also promoting offerings of 100 per cent freehold land, with prices starting from £73/sq m ($95/sq m) including zero per cent taxes and maintenance.
