Reynaers Middle East has concluded a highly successful participation at the recent Windows Doors and Facades Event (WDF) in Dubai, UAE, where it captivated the interest of visitors with the HTC Vive set-up at its stand, enabling them to experience some of its projects through virtual reality.
The system was connected to specific building information models (BIM), which allowed users to move in a 3D space and use motion-tracked hand-held controllers to interact with the environment, thus enabling them to experience the projects in depth.
In addition to the HTC Vive set-up, the stand hosted the ‘World of Reynaers’, where the company’s products were displayed in a 3D model viewed on touch screens, allowing visitors to see various products in different frames and colours.
Commenting on the company’s participation at WDF 2019, Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the European aluminum systems provider Reynaers, told Gulf Construction: “The turnout of visitors was good and included our customer/fabricators, consultants and architects as well as some investors and traders.”
It was Reynaers Middle East’s third consecutive participation at the exhibition, at which it was an event sponsor.
At the event, the company unveiled the new Masterline Pivot and Panel door series which generated a lot of interest, according to Khalaf.
The MasterLine 8 pivot and panel door series is a new variant of the MasterLine 8 series, which was launched in 2016 and has received good response from the Middle East market.
Khalaf said the new MasterLine 8 pivot doors is a state-of-the-art solution for entrance doors of residences, being modern and competitively priced, and offering design flexibility.
“The new pivot doors meet modern requirements such as high insulation, burglar-proof rating of RC2, best air-tightness Class 4, and water-tightness Class 4A (150Pa),” he continued. “In addition, the doors offer the freedom to express personal design and the possibility to integrate a door closer, keyless access, etc.”
Khalaf said MasterLine 8 allows fabricators to source their own panels for maximum design freedom even though Reynaers provides the base profiles and production instructions.
Reynaers’ stand at WDF also featured several of its popular systems including the highly specialised CW 86 MF, an insulated and aesthetic curtain-wall system that complies with all requirements for large building projects; Reynaers’ sliding door series such as the luxurious Hi Finity and the CP 155; and the folding door series (CF 77).
