CCT to build Al Naseem villas

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading developers in Bahrain, has appointed CCT as the main contractor for Al Naseem, its 328,000-sq-m villa development which will offer residents an exceptional modern waterfront lifestyle in Bahrain.

CCT, a leading player in the construction and engineering services sector in Cyprus, will be managing several aspects of the project which is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2021.

The scope of work for CCT includes management of the Phase One construction of the villas overlooking the main canal, as well as building of the secondary infrastructure such as: paving roads, streetlighting, rainwater drainage, sewage work and treated sewage effluent, and obtaining wired and wireless telecommunications network.

In addition, the company will also conduct marine works such as digging canals,  and construct sidewalk walls and locking gates, among other construction work.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Diyar Al Muharraq CEO Engineer Ahmed Alammadi and CCT’s chief executive Ashraf Obeid and other senior representatives from both companies.

Commenting on the deal, Alammadi said: “We are delighted to have on board the highly reputed CCT as the main contractor for ‘Al Naseem’ project which will provide an exceptional modern waterfront lifestyle. We are confident that the company will meet all the requirements within the project’s set timeframe.”

The Al Naseem project was launched in late 2018. It offers 3.2 km of stunning waterfront views overlooking outer and inner canals which flow across the development. It includes over 300 villas overlooking the canal with the possibility of adding a private boat deck for each villa, as well as 500 adjacent apartments distributed across residential buildings equipped with the latest facilities and services.

The project also includes a cinema, a sports club with distinctive facilities, a lively seafront promenade with shopping outlets and fine dining restaurants and cafes. In addition, the project also includes a marina and investment lands for six-storey residential buildings.
