Following its impressive performance on the first phase of the Flamingo Villas project within the Mina Al Arab waterfront development in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, Al Nuaimi Group has been secured work on the project’s second phase.

The group, one of the UAE’s leading construction and development companies, has been awarded the contract by RAK Properties, the biggest property developer in Ras Al Khaimah.

Under the second phase of the Flamingo Villas project, Al Nuaimi Group will build a further 68 villas ranging in size from 186 to 217 sq m within a year’s time.

The group is already working on Phase One of the project, and is set to deliver 124 units by the year-end.

All Flamingo Villas will enjoy convenient access to various amenities such as swimming pools, parks and fitness facilities. They have been carefully designed to complement Mina Al Arab’s themes of vacation-style living and environmental awareness and appreciation.

“Flamingo Villas is a part of our flagship master development Mina Al Arab, that we entrust only to partners who are highly capable of realising our vision for this landmark community,” says Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, the managing director and CEO of RAK Properties.

“Al Nuaimi Group’s impressive work on Phase One meets our expectations and showcases the type of living environment that makes the Flamingo district unique. We expect the same high-quality results from Al Nuaimi Group when it constructs this next phase,” he adds.

Dr Rashed Al Nuaimi, the CEO of Al Nuaimi Group, comments: “Mina Al Arab and its components such as Flamingo Villas embody RAK Properties’ motto of ‘Living closer to nature’. We feel privileged to be part of a development that pays tribute to the emirate’s rich natural environment and culture.”

“The popularity of the project reflects how more local and international owners are appreciating Ras Al Khaimah’s potential as a leisure and lifestyle haven that values the environment and local heritage,” he concludes.

Mina Al Arab is a Dh10-billion ($2.72 billion) masterplanned project along the Ras Al Khaimah coastline that was initially launched in May 2006.
