Al Futtaim Engineering wins $137m joint venture MEP contract Al Futtaim Engineering’s Qatar operation has won a major contract for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works at the Doha Festival City development in the Qatari capital.






The company’s latest successes include two projects in the UAE and one in Kuwait Drake and Scull Engineering (DSE) won three key contracts last month (September) in the GCC – two in the UAE and one in Kuwait – worth a total of  Dh219.1 million ($59.






Omani construction firm Towell Infrastructure Projects (Tipco) has won a $214-million contract to build the infrastructure for Phase Two of the new Liwa City project being established by the Omani government in North Al Batinah Governorate, said a report. The Ministry of Housing is investing around $1.






Following its impressive performance on the first phase of the Flamingo Villas project within the Mina Al Arab waterfront development in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, Al Nuaimi Group has been secured work on the project’s second phase.






Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has awarded a €300-million ($335 million) contract to a joint venture led by Greek contractor Terna for the reconstruction of a 40-km-long stretch in Doha industrial area.
