UAE-based Falconcity of Wonders has signed up Evolve Contracting for the development of Saam Vega Pyramid, a 442-unit luxury hotel coming up within the multipurpose mega project being built in Dubai.

 The small pyramid – Saam Vega is part of the iconic ‘Pyramids Park’ located within Falconcity which aims to recreate the wonders of the world.

 Featuring nine floors, Saam Vega will have a modern architectural design with elegant furnishings and is poised to be an iconic luxury hotel destination.

The hotel residences will range from studios and one- and two-bedroom units, under the management of a well-known hospitality brand, said the Dubai developer.

With its ideal location between two main highways, easy access and exit, Saam Vega is designed to complement modern lifestyles, and promises relaxation and rejuvenation.

 On the big win, Evolve Contracting said it aims to create a true icon that will add immense value to the development of Falconcity of Wonders.

 Constructing a monument of this size and scale has proved to be a challenge as various construction elements had to be tweaked in order to create a building like no other, the company said.  This ranged from developing a customised inclined scaffolding to the earthquake resistance building designs.

 Saam Vega has also been designed to meet the requirements of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Leed) requirements.

 Salem Almoosa, Chairman and General Manager, Falconcity, said: “The success of a project like Saam Vega Pyramid requires the most advanced construction techniques. This will entail the integration of structural, engineering and architectural elements into a virtual prototype, which will provide us an accurate visualisation of the project before the actual construction process begins.”

 “Furthermore, the use of new modular construction in the development of the project will not only minimise time but will also offer sustainability benefits. Evolve Contracting has proven expertise in the field, and we are confident that they are the right partners for the development of this iconic project,” he added.

 Saam Vega features five-star dining venues, a premium health club, luxury amenities, spa and sauna, yoga and meditation areas, nursery, hospital within the Falconcity residential community.
