Doosan Infracore wins major Saudi order

01 May 2020

South Korea’s leading construction equipment maker Doosan Infracore Company says it has secured contracts to supply 10 units of articulated dumptrucks (ADT) to Saudi Arabia and five units to Poland.

The articulated haulers are big, heavy-duty dumptrucks used in mining operations and construction sites to transport large loads over rough terrain.

Doosan Infracore says the 10-unit order win from a Saudi Arabian company takes up almost half of the average orders for ADTs the country gets a year.

The Korean company has been active in Saudi Arabia since 2015 providing its service solution, Doosan Care,  to major builders in the kingdom.

An integrated service solution, Doosan Care offers tailored consulting and equipment maintenance services with its expert engineers visiting the construction sites of clients.

“Doosan Infracore’s excavators and wheel loaders account for a majority share in the Saudi market, but the ADT market is largely dominated by the US and Japanese firms,” says a company spokesman.
