Work in full swing at Azizi’s Riviera project

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has announced that steady progress is being made at Mohammed bin Rashid City’s new project, Riviera. Nearly 60 per cent of the construction and infrastructure work has been completed on Phase One of the Dubai development, while work on Phase Two and Three stands at 37 and 22 per cent, respectively.

A stylish waterfront-lifestyle destination located in the heart of MBR City, Riviera will boast 71 mid-rise buildings with approximately 16,000 residences upon its completion, conveniently located in the midst of all the business, leisure and retail hubs of the city.

It has been designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, which is not merely about architectural appeal but also about a certain ‘joie de vivre’ — a celebration of life, says the Dubai developer.

The homes offer spectacular views of the city’s skyline and ensure generous space, spread across three districts: an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a lush-green social space, it states.

Phase One of Riviera comprises 3,589 residences across 18 towers, consisting of 2,461 studios, 935 one-bedroom, 111 two-bedroom, and 82 three-bedroom units, most of which are projected to be completed in 2020. It has a total built-up area of 375,541 sq m and a total gross floor area of 180,854 sq m.

Mohamed Ragheb, Executive Director - Engineering Division, says Azizi was making substantial progress in the construction of roads, sidewalks, drainage and water systems, backfilling, the laying of telephone line cables and more.

“It is truly a rewarding sight to behold. Riviera is our pride and joy – seeing it come to life, from its design stage to it now turning into a liveable city that will enhance lifestyles for generations to come, fills us all with immense excitement,” he adds.
