Reynaers, a leading European supplier of sustainable aluminium solutions, says it has further enhanced its high-end luxury Hi-Finity sliding door system, which has resulted in boosting its performance, improving its design and extending its features, all while reducing the price paid by the end-customer.
The ultra-slim design of the Hi-Finity sliding door, which has been installed worldwide, offers endless options for high-rise residential or luxury villas. The system’s minimal visual sidelines create large transparent surfaces, with a light, sleek and elegant appearance.
Among the innovations introduced to the system, Hi-Finity’s gutter can now be hidden with the Hi-Finity Floor Finish or Hi-Finity Profile Finish.
“These zero-threshold solutions now offer a new dimension to the system,” says Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the Belgian aluminium systems provider.
The new bottom profile enables easy access and flush transitions, through the use of different cover profiles to hide the gutter and create seamless integration with the floor.
Hi-Finity’s Pocket solution enables vents to slide into an integrated wall pocket, creating an open space without visible elements and providing maximal opening. The system, offered with a two- or three-rail option, features flush finishing. For a higher level of comfort, a concealed motor allows the vents to be opened with the push of a button.
Another innovative feature, the Hi-Finity Wall – the result of using multiple fixed-glass panes in one line with only a 35-mm transom (T-profile) – enables Reynaers to deliver a new economical facade system with a sliding door/door integrated, according to Khalaf.
“Hi-Finity Wall makes it more than just a sliding system – it’s a slim facade system with a sliding window,” he remarks.
Meanwhile, with the system’s Corner solution, a continuous glass wall with new open corners as well as glass-to-glass corners for wider external views and access can be created to provide architectural freedom. The glued fixed glass corners and opening corners can be inward or outward oriented, he adds.
The enhanced Hi-Finity range exhibits reduced rolling resistance, enabling better and smoother handling. Also, standard glass can be used for fixed panes, thus reducing the price for customers.
The Hi-Finity sliding door system supports standard glass panes of up to 4 m high and has been tested to offer airtightness: C4 (600 Pa), watertightness: E750 (750 Pa) and wind load: C5 (2,000 Pa).
Hi-Finity can also integrate a fly-screen door into the frame, ensuring that there is no visual impact caused by the fly-screen.
