Emirates Glass has recently secured three major projects in the Middle East worth Dh12 million ($3.27 million) for the supply of its EmiCool Sun T series of high-performance glass.

One of the leading processors of architectural flat glass in the Middle East and a subsidiary of Glass LLC, a wholly owned by Dubai Investments, Emirates Glass is supplying 165,000 sq m of the EmiCool Sun T series glass for these projects. This includes 40,000 sq m of EmiCool Sun NN30T glass for the Al Dar Properties’ Water’s Edge project and 45,000 sq m of EmiCool Sun NN25T glass for the Mirfa Beach Villa Housing Complex in the Al Dhafra Region, both in Abu Dhabi; and 80,000 sq m of EmiCool Sun NN40T glass for The Gate Towers project in Egypt.

On the supply contract win, Executive President Rizwanulla Khan says: “Growing demand for high-performance glass that meets architects’ and authorities’ requirements with competitive prices, along with the market knowledge, remain the key success factors for Emirates Glass.

“To meet the glass requirements of these three prestigious projects, we continued production amidst challenging business times, to ensure timely delivery of materials. The Emicool Sun T Series meets building regulations requirements in terms of performance and aesthetics and these coatings are produced with the highest quality standards.”

The EmiCool Sun T series provides a range of high-performance glass coatings highly preferred by consultants, architects, glass manufacturers and processors for commercial, residential and office towers, private villas, providing a wide range of optical and thermal properties.

With low indoor reflectance and excellent neutral coating, the Emicool Sun T Series ensures an excellent interior and exterior day and night view through the installed panels, says the Dubai-based company.

The EmiCool Sun T series was an ideal fit for The Gate Towers project in Egypt, with the architecture of the towers crafted to provide wide-angle sea views from every point of the project, it states.

The series is providing similar benefit to The Water’s Edge project, consisting of 13 residential buildings located on the eastern shores of the Yas Island, also designed to offer beautiful views over the canal; and to the Mirfa Beach Villa Housing Complex offering spectacular views of the community and the wide-spread desert, it adds.

Emirates Glass has an excellent portfolio of different in-house-developed performance coatings, from solar control coatings to low-emissivity single and double-silver coatings across the entire colour spectrum.
