UAE-based Al Falah Healthcare group has announced that work is in full swing on its Wellness Boulevard project located within Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa City suburbs, which is due for opening in the third quarter of this year.
A health, wellness, retail and food and beverages (F&B) destination, Wellness Boulevard is being built at a cost of AED500 million ($136 million),
Spread over a 7,600-sq-m area, it will be a new community concept that will be home to a vast selection of medical, fitness plus shopping and dining brands from the region and across the world. Once completed, the Wellness Boulevard will have a huge impact on the lives of people residing in the surrounding area as well as drawing visitors from across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the UAE and the region.
Designed to enhance the level of amenities available to residents in one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest residential areas and further afield, Wellness Boulevard will occupy an essential space at the heart of Khalifa City.
The neighbourhood, close to the edge of the city and the Abu Dhabi International Airport, is home to a large but currently underserved population, said Al Falah Healthcare. Wellness Boulevard aims to address this gap in facilities with its wide selection of leading regional and international healthcare providers and affiliated services, including insurance companies and fitness centres, as well as big-name retail and food offerings.
On the new retail hub, Falah Zayed, the Investment Manager at Al Falah Healthcare, said: “Wellness Boulevard will be a community-led facility and a first of its kind in the UAE and the region. By offering the very best in mall services, the complex will cater to the daily needs of a large, diverse and expanding population that demands access to the very best facilities at a time and location that suits them. This will be complemented by Wellness Boulevard’s unrivalled collection of renowned healthcare providers.”
