Azizi Developments has announced that 98 per cent of the work has been completed on Plaza, a well-connected condominium project located in the heart of Dubai’s new growth corridor, Al Furjan.
The announcement comes in light of the developer completing over 10,000 units this year, with Shaista in Al Furjan, Aura in Jebel Ali, and Mina on Palm Jumeirah having been the most recent handovers, and both Plaza and Star in Al Furjan being up next.
In line with Azizi’s commitment to timely delivery, the company is aiming to swiftly finalise the 448-unit development, which comprises 286 studios, 46 one-bedroom units, 86 two-bedroom residences, 16 luxurious penthouses, as well as 14 retail units.
Plaza’s structure, facade, blockwork, internal plaster and tiling and external works are 100 per cent complete, while the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) as well as the second mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) fix are in final stages.
CEO Farhad Azizi says: “This nearing completion is yet another testament to our commitment to timely delivery. We work exclusively with renowned contractors who have the breadth of experience to deliver our projects to the highest standards of quality – Plaza is a prime example of this. With its central and outstandingly strategic location in the high-growth corridor of Dubai and its excellent connectivity, Plaza appeals to value-oriented customers who wish to gain strong rental yields.”
Meanwhile, Azizi Developments has appointed Shelfco Metal Industries for the supply and installation of SAF panels for 11 of its buildings coming up within its waterfront development Riviera at MBR City in Dubai.
Shelfco is a part of the Ginco group of companies, a renowned business group in the UAE. It is a leading metallurgy specialist that has been operating in the emirates since 1979, supplying customers with metal products with outstanding craftsmanship.
Chief Development Officer Mohamed Ragheb Hussein says: “We have carefully reviewed all SAF panel supplier options and there is no doubt in our minds that Shelfco is the perfect fit. They have completed all of their previous projects with an impressive track record and have extensive experience across a breadth of commercial and residential project metal works.”
Azizi Developments has also signed a deal with Solitude Trading, a leading electrical and mechanical (E&M) services company, to supply refuse chute systems for 15 buildings within its Riviera waterfront project.
“With our stringent, meticulous supplier selection and procurement process, Solitude, with its outstanding safety and quality track record, has emerged as the absolute best fit,” remarks Hussein. “Their refuse and linen chute systems will simplify the lives of our residents, with the most convenient disposal methods across our buildings and with recycling considerations being applied.”
Riviera is Azizi’s renowned waterfront lifestyle community project which, upon its completion, will comprise more than 16,000 residences spread across 71 mid-rise buildings and overlooking an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins – a lush-green social space.
