4Space, a leading innovative interior design firm in the UAE for over 15 years, has launched a new architectural division which will be spearheaded by Ehab Alhariri.
Founded by Firas Alsahin and Amjad Hourieh, 4Space has provided unique space design solutions to various retail, commercial, hospitality, living and exhibition spaces throughout Dubai.
Alhariri, who has joined 4Space to shape the new architectural division, comes with superior experience on various projects with Emaar, Dubai Properties, wasl and Hilton. He was the lead architect for the largest Hampton by Hilton Hotel in the world – the 420-key Hampton by Hilton Dubai Airport.
Alhariri has already worked in the Middle East and will return from the US, bringing with him award-winning international experience. His futuristic sustainable mountain pod has earned him global recognition for pushing boundaries and intentionally using his design capabilities that integrate art and science.
Commenting on the introduction of architectural design to their armoury of offerings, Alsahin says: “I always had a passion for architecture, and you can see this in our interiors – always loved complex and parametric elements which we incorporated in our projects. Due to the demand for unique architecture in a city like Dubai and our evolution, we decided that we want to leave a mark on the iconic architectural scene. Since architecture and interior are in line, we thought it would be an added value for 4Space.”
“Ehab will be the principal architect leading the architecture operations of 4Space and will help develop the group’s expansion in the region. We will be supporting him with our experience and take on any design and business aspect. Yet, we will leave the flow of creativity limitless and help his visions come alive,” he adds.
Hourieh comments: “Restructuring the company and moving forward to the next level; it’s an opportunity for global and regional exposure. What we are trying to achieve is to develop our capabilities and close the gap between making a good design and the reality in the execution.”
