Leading power tool brand Milwaukee has announced the launch of its MX Fuel Backpack Concrete Vibrator, which is claimed to be the most reliable concrete vibrator on the market and the first modular concrete vibrator of its kind.

Part of Milwaukee’s MX Fuel Equipment System, the new backpack vibrator is critical to the concrete consolidation process, providing consistent starts and the most reliable pours, says a senior official of the company.

Pierre Piniau, General Manager of Techtronic Industries, comments: “We know that existing concrete vibrator solutions create multiple frustrations for users, especially around the problems of gas equipment – the starting, emissions, noise, regular maintenance, and vibration. By harnessing MX Fuel technology, we can now deliver a concrete vibrator that is more consistent than gas solutions and has the power to push up to 51-mm head and 53 cu m per charge.

“The vibrator requires only one user as there is no separate machine to carry; users can vibrate concrete at height; and it removes the need for a petrol tank on site. We’ve significant demand for the product in the US since its launch in that market last year and now we look forward to simplifying the consolidation work for concrete contractors across the Middle East.”

With a push button start, users can start the MX Fuel Concrete Vibrator in seconds, getting up and running faster than ever before, by eliminating the repetitive motions of priming, choking, and pull starting without sacrificing power or run-time. The modular design allows users to easily remove the backpack harness when working on walls and columns. In addition, the elimination of extension cords enhances user safety by removing the possibility of trip hazards or cords near standing water, Piniau points out.

“With up to 50 per cent less noise and reduced vibration for increased user comfort, the battery-powered equipment also eliminates emission concerns and is safe to use both indoors and outdoors.

Users can track, manage, and secure the vibrator from their mobile device through One-Key, the industry’s largest Bluetooth community tracking network. If the backpack vibrator is ever lost or stolen, One-Key provides the ability to prevent tampering with remote lockout capability.
