Dubai government’s $1.42 billion allocation in the budget for construction projects for the 2022-2024 period and real estate developments will have a positive impact on the wood and woodworking industry as demand for wood, timber and wood products will increase, said the organisers of the upcoming Dubai WoodShow.
An extensive trade exhibition (B2B) that will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 15 to 17, Dubai WoodShow will provide an ideal platform for suppliers, manufacturers, machinery and tools’ companies to present their products, innovative technologies and large-scale machinery to key figures in the region and Africa, given that Dubai is fast becoming an attractive destination for African wood and woodworking companies, said the organiser.
In its 17th edition, the organisers have for the first time introduced industry awards for exhibitors as recognition of the participants in the exhibition. Winners will be chosen in different award categories.
The 2022 edition is anticipated to showcase a new event format to boost business opportunities for various wood and woodworking machinery sectors in the market. It will include a conference, B2B meetings/matchmaking, seminars, networking event, talk show, in addition to the industry awards for exhibitors.
