The Big 5 Saudi, the kingdom’s first major construction event to be staged live and in-person since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, drew wide interest from industry professionals with the show floor  buzzing with activity and offering ample networking and business opportunities, according to dmg events, the organiser.

The event, which is now in its 10th year, showcased some 1,000 construction products and solutions of some 400 exhibiting companies and 30 countries, including country pavilions from Italy, Germany, the UAE, Greece, Kuwait, Poland, Spain, Egypt and Qatar.

Previously held in Jeddah, the leading expo brand made its Riyadh debut this year and was held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Big 5 Saudi 2022 was co-located with specialised events such as HVAC R Expo Saudi, FM Expo Saudi, Clean Expo Saudi and Stone & Surface Saudi Arabia, thus showcasing products for the complete construction cycle in one place, at one time. 

This year’s event included The Big 5 Saudi Construction Leadership Summit and also hosted 50 free CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certified educational sessions, encompassing all disciplines in the construction industry, to support the ongoing development of the industry’s young professionals in helping discover industry best practices and advancing careers.
