Dubai luxury project developer Damac Properties has awarded a contract worth over AED137 million ($37.2 million) to Proscape for roads and infrastructure works at three clusters within the Damac Lagoons master community development in Dubailand.

Damac Lagoons transforms an area of 48 million sq ft into a Mediterranean-inspired habitat featuring white sandy beaches, a tropical island vibe and other experiences, alongside aesthetic villas and townhouses built around 1 million sq ft of lagoons.

The community is divided into clusters from the Mediterranean region including Portofino, Venice, Malta, Nice, Santorini, Costa Brava, Marbella, Monte Carlo and Ibiza.

According to Damac, the scope of work includes provision of construction, completion, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the roads and infrastructure services of the Nice, Costa Brava, and Portofino clusters.

Meanwhile, Damac has announced the opening of the Damac Hills 2 Hotel – an Edge by Rotana managed property – featuring 295 modern rooms with connecting rooms for families along with other key lifestyle amenities. Located in the vibrant Damac Hills 2 community, the hotel is surrounded by lush green parks and calming lakes.
