JCV launches innovative Mobile Parts Shop

Saudi-based Juffali Commercial Vehicles (JCV), a leading provider of logistics solutions, has come up with an innovative mobile shop solution that can assist companies and fleet operators who face challenges in accessing the company’s services due to their remote locations.

Its Mobile Parts store facilitates companies in these remote areas and reduces the pressure for larger stores in the main cities. Smaller businesses in rural areas need help finding parts for their fleets and often must travel long distances to urban areas, said JCV. To address this issue, the company plans to implement a dual strategy by opening an e-commerce shop and launching a “Mobile Parts Shop” covering southern and northern Saudi Arabia and parts of the Eastern Province.

JCV’s branded 20- or 40-ft container includes a parts stock portfolio that meets its client requirements. It is a pay-per-use facility, with weekly/monthly counts. The company offers return pick-up and features such as a ramp, power cable connector, and a hook-up system. A smaller version – the Mobile Parts Van solution – is also available. These options come with shelves and lights, providing ample space for storing goods and equipment.

“The best part is that these are available at no cost to JCV fleet operators, making it a cost-effective solution for businesses of all sizes,” he remarked.

Additionally, JCV’s parts consignment stock solution can help companies reduce inventory costs, as they only pay for the parts they use. It also tackles the challenges of inadequate storage space.

The onboard equipment in the van-based mobile parts shop includes a mobile debit and credit card terminal device, an internet hub/router, and fully-fledged SAP mobile access. The company can process sales quotations, orders, and delivery notes while on the go. Invoices will be issued after returning to the depot.

If successful, JCV intends to expand its services to include two mobile parts shops with MB/Fuso branded trailers.

JCV currently has a network that covers the most important city areas, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and Dammam.
