SteelFab, the foremost trade event for the metal working industry in the UAE and the Middle East, will bring together industry experts and the latest innovations when it reconvenes this month for its 19th edition.
SteelFab 2024 will be held from January 8 to 11 at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
The event covers a broad focus area. Right from providing the A-to-Z requirements of the metal working industry, to catering to the entire industrial segments, and presenting the most comprehensive showcase of latest innovations and technology, SteelFab is always at the top of the game, organisers said.
With the UAE government and other regional countries adopting policies to speed up digital transformation of the industrial sector, SteelFab has emerged as a game changer for the regional metal working industry. What makes it indispensable is its role in helping regional players develop digital capabilities that would help them gain an edge in a hypercompetitive market, they said.
SteelFab has enjoyed growing success over the years, due to its increasing focus on several industrial segments within the manufacturing industry. Welding and cutting, power tools, machine tools, pipe and tube machinery, stainless steel and AI and robotics are key attractions at the event. It constantly realigns with industry requirements, with AI and robotics being a recent addition to its core focus areas.
In manufacturing, the range of opportunities for digital transformation is tremendous. Manufacturers leverage information and data from a wide range of processes to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs. SteelFab, through its display of cutting-edge technologies, arms regional players with digital forces, thus helping them rejig business models with new value propositions, according to organisers.
SteelFab features special focus areas such as: Pipe & Tube Machinery, Welding & Cutting, Metal Cutting & Machine Tools, Stainless Steel and Wear Resistance & Hard Facing. It will also include foreign pavilions, seminars and technical presentations, live displays and a dedicated vertical for the fastener and fixing industry – Fasteners World Middle East.
Meanwhile, SteelFab, together with ESAB and Middle East Industrial Training Institute (MEITI), will present the 3rd edition of the “Best Welder @SteelFab” award. Welding industry professionals from the region will showcase their welding skills and compete to win this title at the event.
